Winning First Place With This Stunning Card
June 09, 2022
Check out this stunning Slimline Card that was submitted for my recent TEAM Challenge by Sue Floyd from Akron, OH.
I so love when some one can take a die or punch and makes something completely different with it. Case in point is this card. Are you able to do that? Not me, I see one thing when I look at a die or punch. Proving my point I am not creative, it's the dies, punches, and stamp that make me look creative.
Sue used the Daffodil Dies and created these Bluebells. She used the Adhesive Sheet to give them depth. The picture doesn't do this card justice. I also love how she embossed the background and used the Blending Brushes to add color.

I so agree Mary. Stunning in every word.

Since this is my sister’s card, I am a little biased but when I saw it…I knew it was a winner! Anyone would love to receive a handmade card, but this one, its like a gift! Great job Sue!

We have a Metro Park near me and ever spring it is full of Blue Bells. They are so stunning. Thanks for letting me know you enjoyed this card.

You have to be somewhat creative to have an eye for the unique! I agree that Sue has done somethig exquisite with the daffodil dies. I LOVE her card. When visiting San Antonio one summer, my sis and I went to Freedickstown (I think) a suburb because it was noted to explode with bluebells. And it did leaving me with an admiration for those flowers
