Paradise

#paradisePalmsBundle #retirementcard #wavesoftheocean #lindabauwin

This card does remind me of Paradise, as I love the ocean.  It's been awhile since I have been able to go enjoy the beach.

With the Waves of the Ocean Designers Series Paper, the Waves Inspiration Stamp Set and the Palm Dies this card is a snap to make.

I put the big Wave Stamp on to my Stamparatus.  I find when I have a large stamp, the Stamparatus works great, because if I don't get a good inking it is a snap to reink and stamp again.  With this card, I wanted lots of ink, so I stamped a couple three times.

By stamping several times, there was a lot of ink of the Designer Series Paper, and I was then able to go in with my Water Painters and pull the color around to highlight the wave more.

I die cut the Palm Tree in Basic White Card Stock and the Mini Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine, which on sale until the end of month at 25% off.  I then used my Stampin' Write Markers in Early Espresso and Garden Green to color in the Palm Trees.

For the verse in side I used the Paradise Palms Stamp Set.  I love the saying in this stamp set: "Retirement Wishes", "Hope You Find a Little Paradise Wherever You May Be" and "Wishing You a Warm and Beachy Kind of Day".  These are sentiments that I didn't have in my stamp collection.  I also love the fond of the stamps.
