Sharing Mom's Birthday Card
September 20, 2021
Yesterday was my Mom's 86th birthday. I am so grateful that Jason and I were able to take her out of the home for dinner. A big blessing, as last year, her first birthday in the Assistant Living she couldn't go out because of COVID.
So of course I had to make her birthday card in her favorite color and flower. Pink is her favorite color and she loves Pansies.
So I used the 2021-2023 In Color, Polished Pink along with the Pansy Patch Bundle. Knowing she doesn't have a lot of space to display cards, and that she would get a lot of them, I chose a Note Card. That's the cool thing about card making you can design your card around the person you are making it for. I was pleased with the way it turned out.
The Polished Pink and Basic White Card Stock behind the Pansies I used my Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine with the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder. That folder gives so much depth to your card.
What do you think? Isn't it the perfect card for a Special Lady.

What an absolutely lovely birthday card for your absolutely lovely mom. I know she loved it - and especially going out to dinner with you and Jason.

It was a great time, to take her out to dinner and spend the afternoon together. Last year was hard in so many ways.
