Yesterday I shared the card Sue Floyd created that inspired today's video.  Here is what I did with this card layout.  The card is very easy to make and really makes a huge statement when placed on a shelf.  I am going to include the step-by-step instructions so it will help you when you are designing your Pop-Up Easel Card.

  • Take a 5 1/2" x 11" piece of cardstock and place 5 1/2" side vertical in trimmer @ 7/8" start cutting at the 1" mark to the 5 1/2" mark
  • Flip and cut card on the other side
  • Place 11" side vertical in trimmer score on OUTSIDE the cut line @ 1", 2", & 5 1/4"
  • Score on the INSIDE of cut line @ 4 1/4"
  • Lastly score the whole card at 8 1/2"

Mats

  • 2 pieces 3/4" x 3 sides
  • 4" x 5 1/4" place the 5 1/4" side vertical in trimmer @ 7/8" start cutting at 3/4" (in video I started @ 1", 3 /4" looks better) cut to the end of the paper snip this section out flip and do on other side
  • 2 3/4" x 4" Center
  • 2" x 5 1/4"
  • 1/4" x 2 3/4"

Now watch the video to see how truly easy this stunning card is to make.
