So when I started the clock project I didn’t have a cute where to start. I began by thinking of painting over the wrench but then I would have to wait to get paint and I was inspired that moment. If I waited— well it wouldn’t get done with so many other projects. So I began by using a black sharpie around the edges just in case the edge would show. Then I cut a yellow circle out of 12x12 yellow paper. So anxious to see if it would work I cut a slit half way across the paper and slid it under the hands of the clock. Then brought it back out and punched a 1/4”. Circle in the center where the hands were and stamped the bee hive in Crushed Curry. I glued it down and then stamped the honeycomb from another bee set I had. Sponged some Curry here and there to give some dimension. Stamped small bees for numbers of clock. For the 12, 3, 6, 9 I die cut the large bees from black card stock and put them on with dimensionals. Glued down a few die cut honeycombs and stamped my sentiments around. With marker added trails behind the bees. I would suggest to do all the stamping before gluing circle down on clock. Bees bodies also have the crystal effects from Christmas catalog. To finish I placed die cut bees on the hands of the clock so they are always buzzing around. Love that it has a second hand so that bee never stops. Glad you liked it. Darla Bee Blessed 🐝
