Get More From Your Embossing Folders
August 30, 2019
Today's Video is a Stamp Technique to show you how to get different looks from your Embossing Folders. I used the New 3-D Emboss Folder Brick & Mortar. We did have a brick embossing folder in the past, but this has a more raised detail look.
Remember all 3-D Emboss Folders now require the new 3-D Embossing Folder Plate. The New Plate is not in the current catalog. Click here to view the information about the plate.
The new plate makes up the difference in measurement between our old-style Dynamic Folders and our New-Style 3-D Folders.
To create your emoss sandwich:
- Use a die-cutting & Embossing Machine platform as a base, no matter which machine you are using, use standard platform which comes with your machine.
- Use the 3-D Embossing folder with your paper in the middle
- Then use the 3-D Embossing Folder Plate on Top.
The thickness between the Dynamic Embossing Folders and the 3-D Embossing are some times hard to tell the difference. Easiest way to tell is if it says Stampin' Up! it is our New 3-D Embossing Folders.
Hope you find the Inked Emboss Technique I share in the video helpful.
