Creative Inking Blog Hop - Holiday Catalog Must Haves
September 20, 2017
I am sure it comes as no surprise that my favorite Holiday Catalog Must Have is the stamp set I helped inspired "Half Full".
The card above is the card I did as a Make-a-Take last weekend at the Adventure's in Stamping Stamp Convention. It is also a card we are doing this week, as part of my Christmas Card Club Cards. At both events this card is a hit.
I started with a piece of Basic Black Card Stock that measures 5 1/2" x 7 1/2" and we scored it along the 7 1/2" side at 4 1/4" to form the base of the card.
We next took a piece of Real Red Card Stock that measured 3" x 5 1/4" and ran it through the Holly Embossing Folder. This goes on the front flap.
On a piece of Whisper White Card Stock that measured 1 1/2" x 3 1/2" we stamped the wine glass, holly and the verse in Archival Basic Black Ink. I colored in with Garden Green, Real Red and So Saffron Stampin' Write Markers.
I used the Everyday Label Punch in Basic Black Card Stock to add some dimensional behind this stamped image and add some Pearl Basic Jewels.
Here is the inside of the card. We adhered a 4" x 5 1/4" Whisper White Card Stock to the inside and stamp the verses in black. On the right hand side I adhered a piece of Quilted Christmas Designer Series Paper that measured 1" x 5 1/4".
I have created several other cards and projects with this card. Would you like to see more
Then check out my Pinterest Board Half Full. I am so thrilled that I already have over 3,300 following this board in less than a month. Make sure you follow so you can check out new items I create with this set.
Now it's time to head over to Diane Evans and see what her Must Haves are from the Holiday Catalog.
I really love how you used the Everyday Label punch here - brilliant! I will be casing that idea for sure!

Fabulous layout. I just ordered "your" stamp set and can't wait to copy this style of card.
