Creative Inking Blog Hop Winter Frolics

Welcome to the Creative Inking Blog Hop with a theme of Winter Frolics.  A Blog Hop on a Tuesday, which is my day each week to share a Creative Fold Card.  So you get both today.  A Creative Fold Video, a Tower Card, and a Winter Frolic Blog Hop with a Birthday Card. 

 It is hard to get a good picture of how cute this card is, it lays flat to mail, but then stands up like a tower to display on a shelf.

I used the Birthday Banner and Snow Place Stamp Set to create the cool Banner along with the Bunch of Banner Framelits. The adorable Penguin comes from the Snow Place Stamp and is cut out with the Snow Friends Framelits. Don't know how well you can see in the picture, but I used Wink of Stella to give him a little shine.

The panels around the Tower Card use the Woodland Embossing Folder and I brayered the fold.  Here is a video where I show this technique along with the Faux Illusion.  Really adds a cool look to the card.

 

Getting so excited to share all the fun new product in the Occasions and Sale-a-Bration Catalogs that starts on January 4th.  So starting next week I will feature videos on some of the must have products in these two new catalogs.
