Old Stamping Techniques
June 30, 2016
Are you like me and have been stamping for several years, and am always looking for the new? Are there fun stamping techniques that were your favorites a few years ago, but you haven't done in a long time?
Well a dear friend, and a member of my Stamp Family, Sherm Langan from Hinckley, Ohio came for a visit and brought me some stamping projects to stamp. Love it when I can stamp and not have to use my brain.
We did a card from a technique from the past Reverse Negative, but we did it with Thinlits. In the past we used Embossing, but that was before all the Thinlits and Framelits came on the market. So check out this stunning card.
We simply used the Rose Garden Thinlits and the Rose Wonder Stamp Set in black and White. What do you think?
Here is another card we did this used the very popular Swirly Scribbles Thinlits to for a Cross.
Simple and elegant. Sometimes, no I should say a lot of the times, I just over think my cards, when they can be done so quick and easy. Thanks Sherm for reminding me to not forget those older stamping techniques that we love so much.
Both are very nice! I overthink every card I make. LOL It takes me forever to make a card because I keep "thinking" about everything.
Thanks,
Jeneane
