Full Pleated Card

Today's Creative Fold Video is another Full Pleated Card.  This creative fold got so many comments last time I did, I thought I would do it again, with the Affectionately Yours Specialty Designer Series Paper. The colors are so cheery.

My card base is the standard 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Crumb Cake with a 4" x 5 1/4" Cucumber Crush run through the Big Shot with the Fluttering Embossing Folder.

For the pleated part of the card it is the Affectionately Yours Designer Series Paper that measures 3" x 11" and it is score at:      1 1/2", 2", 3", 3 1/2", 4 1/2", 5", 6", 6 1/2", 7 1/2", 8", 9", 9 1/2" 10 1/2".

I measured up on each of the short sides 1 1/2" and cut on the same sides up to the 5" mark and the other to the 6".  This makes your angle.  Now you simply fold mountain, valley folds.  You will find that your designer series paper is long but it just folds around the card.

I took a 1/2" x 5" strip of Crumb Cake Card Stock and wrapped around the top of the pleat, but you can use ribbon too.  I used the Thoughtful Banners Bundle to create the little banner.  Notice the Gold Thread on the back of the banner.  So love that thread for an accent.
