You've Got This Card

You've Got This Stamp Set makes such lovely cards. The flower is so open and with the background stamp, that comes with it, there are just so many things you an do with it.
I used the masking technique with this card. First by stamping the flower with the Memento Black Ink Pad on a piece of 3 3/4" x 5" Whisper White Card Stock and on a piece of copy paper. I cut out the flower from the copy paper. Next I applied some 2-Way Glue and let it air dry a bit. Next I placed this over top the image I stamped on the Whisper White Card Stock.
I inked the background stamp with Smoky Slate Ink and stamped over the flower. I then removed the mask, which left the flower unstamped. Make sure you watch the video for all the details. I added some color with the New In Color Makers and some sparkle with the Dazzling Details.
To form the card, I adhered the Whisper White Card Stock to a piece of Smoky Slate Card Stock that measured 4" x 5 1/4". I took a piece of Mint Macaron Card Stock that measured 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and scored in half to form the card. The Smokey Slate Card Stock gets mounted on to the front of the card. Add a stamped butterfly from the Papillon Potpourri Stamp Set and the Bitty Butterfly Punch, followed by the verse and your card is done.
Love this card, Linda, especially the masking!
Thanks for sharing.
