Fun Before the SU! Incentive Trip
May 23, 2015
I was blessed to go to Honolulu a few days earlier then the Stampin' Up! Incentive Trip. Thanks to a dear friend Cindy Baughman. Cindy did a fundraiser for American Cancer Society's Hope Lodge. She held this event in honor of our Advisory Board Sister Kim Williams who recently battled breast cancer.
I got to present at this event with some pretty amazing women Pam Morgan, from SU!, Ronda Wade and Dawn Griffith from Michigan. It was a day I will remember forever.
After the event, I got a phone call in my hotel room from a former member of my stamp family, Laurie Capps. She now lives in Hawaii and was working in a shop downstairs. She saw ladies leaving the event and asked what was going on and found out I was presenting. So she called around local hotels until she found me. It was so good to see her again.
The next day Cindy was such a wonderful host, showing us around her beautiful island, and inviting us into her home for some traditional Hawaiian activities and of course stamping.
Here we are making our leis.
Cindy Baughman, Dawn Griffith, Georgia Giguere, Me, Kim Williams and Meg Loven and no Dawn doesn't have toilet paper that is the twine we used to make the leis.
Here Dawn and I are stamping in Cindy's stamp room.
And all this happened before we even started the Stampin' Up! Incentive Trip. Lots of memories made and new friendships formed. Memories like these make me glad I'm a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.
