Corner Fold Card
May 05, 2015
I am so in love with today's Creative Fold Card. A shout out to Lee Graff as she is the one that inspired this video. And it is probably one of the easiest creative fold card to do.
I am using the beautiful Crisp Cantaloupe Card Stock, which is retiring and may even be gone by now. Make sure you check out the Retiring Accessory List and Stamps before the are all history.
This card is a standard 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" card you will want to score at the 4 1/4". Then move the card to the 3" line and cut from the 2 1/2" mark to the 4 7/8" mark. This will end your cutting 5/8" from the edge of the card.
Turn your card and line up at the 3" mark, start cutting here. This will be at the end of your first cut line and cut to the 5/8" mark. That's it. You will just flip this half square over for your score line. Didn't I tell you it was simple.
The layering on the front is just a 2 1/2", 2 5/8" and 2 3/4" squares in the different colors. The layering on the inside of the card is what I think really makes it pop. I used a piece of black card stock 4" x 5 1/4" and a piece of white card stock that measures 3 3/4" x 5".
Thanks Chris
