Golden Glimmer Shutter Card
January 27, 2015
OMG I am in love with today's Creative Fold Video featuring a Golden Glimmer Shutter Card. I am so surprised that in two years of doing creative fold card videos on Tuesday, I have never featured a Shutter Card.
Well today's video is inspired from a Christmas Card I got from a dear customer Lori Slimmer. Look at the beautiful Irresistibly Yours Designer Paper that has been sponged with Gold Metallic .Encore Ink.
Have not seen how to use the Irresistibly Yours Designer Paper check out this video. And learn how you can get free here.
Check out the card base done with the Gold Foil Sheet and all the Glimmer from the Gold Glimmer Paper. The picture and video does not do it justice it is simply stunning.
Sizes of Card
- Gold Foil Sheet 5 1/2" x 12" Scored at 2", 4", 8", & 10" You will need to cut the center out. Put card in Vertical into trimmer at the 1 1/2" mark and cut from 2" to the 10" score line. Flip and repeat on opposite side
- 3-Irresistibly Yours Designer Paper 1 3/4" x 12"that has been sponged with the Gold Metallic Encore Pad ( you won't need all)
- Then cut apart for 2 pieces 1 3/4" x 5 1/4
- 4 @ 1 1/4" x 1 3/4"
- 2 @ 1 3/4" x 2 1/4"
- 2 @ 1 1/4" x 3 3/4"

This is both gorgeous and creative. I love butterflies. Hugs

I apologize. For the confusion

Linda, your video says to use a 5.5 x 11 sheet of foil but your written directions show 5.5 x 12. This cause some confusion and frustration when we tried to make the card from just the video.

I can only imagine how beautiful this card is in person with the gold butterflies and gold sponged Irresistibly Yours paper because I know how gorgeous that glitter butterfly is in your Butterfly Basics Monthly kit. Pictures just can't do it justice! Can't wait to CASE this one!
