In Love With Shaker Cards

Foam Adhesive Strips

Can I just say I was so happy when I saw that Stampin' Up! had the foam adhesive strips in the new catalog?  They make making shaker cards such an easy thing.  They are a sheet of adhesive white foam strips for shakers and spinner cards.  The size is 1/8" x 9" and you get a total of 10 yards per pack for only $8.00.  Let the shaking begin.  And we all know we like cards that have movement.  Well at least I do.

This card uses the Jar of Love Bundle which makes such an adorable shaker card.  This card was done by Leigh Amburgey from Mentor.  Leigh used the Jar of Love Stamp Set and the Everyday Jars Framelits Dies which comes as a bundle.  She also used the beautiful Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate.

The acetate comes in 12" x 12" sheets with gold foil on one side and looks silver on the the other side.  You get 6 sheets: 2 each of 3 single-sided designs all for $12.  This designer acetate is perfect to work with shaker cards.

Not sure how to make a shaker card?  Well Stampin' Up! created a great video to show you the ins and outs.  So I thoughts I'd share.

Time is running out on my Exclusive  New In Color Ruched Ribbon Special.   When you purchase $30 in my Online Store use the Hostess Code GUYPFWAA and receive 1 yard of each of the New In Color Ribbons..  Offer ends June 15.

Video Share

Stampin' Up! creates lots of YouTube Videos, when we get new product.  I don't always take the time to view them.  Life just is too busy at times.

Today was one of those days when I just couldn't get myself motivated to accomplish anything.  Been having those kind of days lately.  Had been feeling guilty about that.  I have decided to just do what I feel like, instead of beating myself up about not accomplishing anything.

So today I watched YouTube and drank hot tea.  My dear sweet dog, Sweetie, enjoyed sitting on my lap.

So thought I would share a video that I found to be helpful.  One thing I realized over the last couple months is that I have tons of pictures that I don't get out and share.  I need to change that.  I really want to start scrapbooking with Stampin' Up! Project Life.

This video sure inspired me and I hope it does you too.

Check out the FREE BLOG CANDY at the bottom of this post.

Today's video is just a quick tip to help you with your glue dots.  Are you like me and have a hard time knowing where the next glue dot is?  Or tear off too much of the paper that covers the glue dots, and have them sticking to everything?

If you answered yes to either of these questions above you have to watch this video, so you know exactly where your next glue dot is.  And don't forget about the blog candy.

Storing your Photopolmyer Stamp Sets in Stampin' Up! Quick Framelit Storage Tip

I hope this week's WOW Moment Video helps you locate your framelits when you need them.  Seems like I am always looking for my framelits to match my stamp sets, but when you mount them inside the clear cases, they are always at your finger tips.  The Festive Flurry Bundle still is the set that I use the most out of the Holiday Catalog, I am sure it is because of the matching framelits, as I have had many a snowflake stamp set in the past but have never used like this set.
