Double Fun Fold Video

#doublefunfold #lindabauwin

Isn't this a stunning card?  It is a Double Fun Fold Card using the Special Reason Bundle, All Things Thanks Stamp Set, and the Flourishing Phrases Stamp Set.

The colors used are Basic Black and Crushed Curry. I also used the Petal Burst Embossing Folder.

You first take a piece of Crushed Curry that measures 5 1/2" x 6 1/4" and score at 4 1/4".   You will see in the video how I embossed just the top portion of this piece.

Then I took a piece of Crushed Curry, that measured 5 1/4" x 8" and scored at the 4" mark.  Again just embossing the top portion.

I took a piece of Whisper White Card Stock that measured 2" x 2 1/2", and used the framelit die from the Stylish Stems Framelits Dies and die cut the daisy in the upper right corner.  I also cut a small piece of Basic Black Card Stock with the die for just the tiny center of the flower.

I stamped the words from the All Things Thanks Stamp Set in black in the lower left corner.  I took the small flower from the Special Reason Stamp Set and stamped around the edge of this piece of card stock.  And then adhered this piece to a piece of Crushed Curry that measured 2 1/4" x 2 3/4", and adhered to the top portion of Basic Black piece where it was dry embossed.

Here is the card half-way opened.

#doublefunfold o

I took a piece of Whisper White 2" x 2 1/2" and stamped the words from the Flourishing Phrases Stamp Set in Basic Black Ink, and stamped the flower around the outside again.

You will want to adhere the Crushed Curry Card Base with the fold to the bottom of the Basic Black card base.  Watch the video for placement.

Here is the inside of the card.  I took a piece of Whisper White that measures 3 3/4" x 5" stamped the flowers around the outside and adhere to the inside of the Crushed Curry Base.  There you have it a Double Fun Fold Card.

Who is ready for another Creative Fold?

#creativefoldcards #lindabauwin #11

Isn't this card stunning?  It was created by Lisa Brown from Northfield, Ohio.  You can check out other creations from Lisa on her blog at Stamp with Lisa Brown.

This fold is called a Simple Z Fold Card.  I have done several videos with this type of fold.  There are many different alterations to this fold.  You can check them out on my YouTube Channel.  The Basic Z Fold Card is just your card stock scored in half and then fold back against itself on the front.

Here is Lisa's card open.

#creativefoldcards #lindabauwin #11o

With Lisa's card it is a 4 1/4" x 11" scored at 5 1/2" and then again at the 2 3/4".  It is a relatively easy fold to do that creates and awesome look.

Lisa used the Carousel Birthday Stamp Set that is part of the Cupcake & Carousels Suite in the Occasions Catalog.  She also used the Cupcakes & Carousels Designer Series Paper Stack from this Suite.

The soft colors in the Cupcakes & Carousels Designer Series Paper are very pleasing to the eye.  They are Bermuda Bay, Calypso Coral , Early Espresso, Peekaboo Peach, So Saffron and Very Vanilla.

Don't be left out more and more Sale-a-Bration Items are being discontinued each day.  And don't forget about getting the refills for those soon-to-be retiring In Colors.

Love this Easter Card.  I am so sorry the Sale-a-Bration Glimmer Paper is already gone.  But we knew this could happen, that is why you don't want to wait when it says "While Supplies Last".  You can achieve the a very similar look with a sponge or sponge dauber, and ink pad and the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper.  Check ou tthe video below.

#eastercard #lindabauwin

I used the Basket Builder Framelits Dies.  This is a must have framelits set, it makes decorating for Easter a snap.

I took the 3 3/4" x 5" piece of Soft Sky Card Stock and used a masking, that I created with the Up & Away Thinlits Dies in order to create clouds.  Just by sponging over the masking with Craft White Ink I get the puffy clouds.

I used the Silicone Mat and a Sponge with the Tombow Glue to adhere the Glimmer Paper.  This card is just stunning.  Once again sorry the Glimmer Paper Stack from Sale-a-Bration is gone.  As the end grows near of this sale, more things with me out of stock, so don't delay.

That also means the Ultimate Bundle will soon be gone.  Don't know what that it is?  It is a way for you to Test Drive Stampin' Up! and see all the benefits of being a demonstrator, like getting a look at the new catalog,  while getting a discount on paper crafting supplies.  There is no obligation just lots of opportunities.

#popoutcard #lindabauwin

The flower center are highlighted with the Gold Wink of Stella and the flowers themselves with the Clear Wink of Stella.

The Detail Dragonfly Framelits Dies were used to highlight the Belly Band.

This Creative Fold was shared during my recent challenge to the demonstrators in my Stamp Family by Leigh Amburgey of Mentor.  If you missed the card she shared with this Creative Fold you can check it out here.

I used the must have Stitched Framelits that layer so well with the Layering Circle Framelits.

Creative Inking Blog Hop Designer Series Paper Showcase

#designerseriespaper #su #lindabauwin

Stampin' Up's Designer Series Paper is the best to help make card making a breeze.  First, you have such a great selection of patterns, but the best part is that they coordinate with our inks and other accessories.  That is very hard to find in the paper craft industry.

This card uses the soon-to-be retiring Tip Top Taupe Designer Series Paper.  It doesn't get easier than that.  I used the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits Dies, the Falling Petals Embossing Folder and a stamped verse from the Dragonfly Dreams Stamp Set.  And your card is complete.

#designerseriespapersu #su #lindabauwin

This card is super easy.  I just stamped directly on to the Designer Series Paper with Early Espresso Classic Ink.  I used the beautiful Easter Message Stamp Set and the Falling in Love Designer Series Paper.

I used this paper as my main focus for projects we did last weekend at my Stamp Retreat and it was such a hit.  Reminder this paper will soon be gone, as it is in the Occasions Catalog that ends on May 31, or while supplies last.  I wouldn't wait to long to land this beautiful paper.

#designerseriespapersu #lindabauwin

Here is another great way to add Designer Series Paper to a card.  Just by adding small strip across the bottom of the card.  I used the Falling in Love Designer Series Paper again, with the Very Vanilla 1/4" Satin Ribbon. It sits off the basket of flowers so nicely.

The flower basket comes from the Basket Bunch Bundle. If you have not checked out this bundle you need to.  Remember once a bundle has appeared in a catalog as a bundle, it will not appear at the bundle price again.  That doesn't mean the stamps and framelits will not appear in another catalog, you just won't be able to save with the bundle price.

Now it's time to hop on over and see what Diane Evans has to share with us.  Or hop back if you missed Dena Rekow lovely share.

Video Showing The Tarnished Foil Technique

#tarnishfoil #lindabauwin

I am so in love with this new stamping technique I just learned called, Tarnished Foil.  I used with the Nail It Bundle.  This bundle is becoming my favorite masculine bundle.  You will want to subscribe to my blog, if you are not already, because in April I will be offering a very special deal with this bundle, that you will not want to miss.

#stamptechnique #nailit #lindabauwin

Here is the card I did using the tarnished foil technique.  Stampin' Up!'s Foil Sheets are the perfect product to do this technique.  Every color of our Foil Sheet gives this technique a new look.

You must use the StazOn Ink to add the first layer of color.  In the video, I embossed with the Hexagon Dynamic Textured  Embossing Folder first and then added the ink.  But you can add your ink first, just make sure you use a sheet of paper between your foil and the embossing fold, so you won't get the ink on your folder.

I then used the embossing buddy to remove any moisture from the foil and added VersaMark Ink Randomly on the the foil, and I applied Silver Embossing Powder.  Not only can use different colors of foil sheets you can also use different colors embossing powders.  I then heated with the Embossing Gun to melt the powders.

After the foil has cooled, I did the same thing again, adding the VersaMark then this time I added the Copper Embossing Powder.  Such an amazing look and it look so good with the Nailed It Bundle.

Watch the video for some other cool tips.  Then go get creative and share what you come up with.

Time is ticking away.  Don't miss out on the Ultimate Stamping Bundle.  Where you will get a chance to give Stampin' Up! a Test Drive and earn a discount on your paper crafting supplies.  This special offer ends March 31, Don't be Left Out.

Looking for more Creative Fold Cards?

Today's share from my Creative Fold Challenge with my Stamp Family, was created by Norma Johnson from Titusville, PA.

#creativefoldcards #lindabauwin #10

Norma used the Up & Away Thinlits Dies along with the Softly Falling Embossing Folder for the front of her card.  Her card is a Gate Fold Card and she accented the Gate Opening by using the Thinlits Dies to cut out the Balloon.  She did a belly band to keep the card closed.  Here is what it looks like opened.

#creativefoldcards #lindabauwin #9o0

When I received Norma's card for the challenge, I remembered I had done a video with this technique.  I was so surprised to find the video and it was done three years ago.   Thought you may enjoy seeing it.

Using your framelits dies in a Gate Fold Opening sure gives the card a interesting opening.
