Adorable Custom Tee Candy Holder

#customtee #linabauwin

Check out this adorable Custom Tee Candy Holder that was given to me this past weekend by Sherrie Robinson from Bowling Green, Ohio.  There are no words to explain how cute it is.  Here is a very from the side.

#candyholder #lindabauwin

It holds a Hershey Nugget and would made a perfect party favor for a little girls party.  Or change it up a bit for a Graduation Open House Favor.  The possibilities are endless.

With the Custom Tee Bundle from the Occasions Catalog making this little candy favor is a breeze to make.  Problem is though, it is not carrying over into the New 2017-2018 Stampin' Up! Catalog.  That means if you would like to make these adorable candy favors you need to act quick to get this bundle before it retires.

Here are the sizes and tips on how to make this little gem.  The collar and the little flower are from the Custom Tee Stamp Set and both have a framelits from the T-Shirt Framelits Dies.  That is why it is a must to order the bundle as all that you need is in that bundle.

  • Start with a 6" x 2-1/8" piece of card stock. On the 6" side score at 2-1/2", 3" and 3-1/2" marks.
  • Fold the card stock in half along the middle score line.
  • Arrange your Designer Series Paper with the T-shirt Framelit according to the diagram below.

#customtee #lindabauwin

  • Make sure you place the top cutting plate as shown in the diagram just above the cutting line of the bottom of the T-Shirt.
  • After checking the position of the framelit and top scoring plate, you may want to tape down with Washi Tape.
  • After cutting the dress free from the Designer Paper, run the other end through and cut out center

Give it a try it is so adorable.  But don't wait to order the Custom Tee Bundle as it soon will be gone.  Use the Hostess Code PEXMMHH2 to receive the free PDF on the Nailed It Bundle.

Dutch Door Video

#succulent #creativefold #lindabauwin

In today's video, I use the beautiful succulent that I made in a video last Friday.  If you missed that video, you can check it out here. I am calling today's creative fold a Dutch Door Opening Card.  Not sure that is the correct name but that is what we will call it.  When it is closed it looks like a regular card.  But when it is open it does open like Dutch Doors.

#dutchdoor #lindabauwin

This is a very simple to make creative fold.  I did some collage stamping wit the Timeless Textures and the Gorgeous Grunge Stamp Sets.  Both of these stamp sets make collage stamping a breeze.  I did tone on tone and I think that helps with the Vintage Look.  This is the technique that I used on the gift boxes from a couple weeks ago and the Petite Cafe Bag a few days ago.

Create a Succulent Video

#ohsucculent #linda Bauwin

In today's video, I am going to teach you how easy it is to create a beautiful Succulent using card stock.  The succulent I made on the video I will use on Tuesday for my create fold video, so you will want to check back.

The Succulent Framelits Dies come with 17 dies to create beautiful succulents.  It is part of a bundle that features the 30 piece photopolymer stamp set.  As always, the best deal is purchase it as a bundle as you save 10%.

For the video I just used my Big Shot with the 5 framelits, Old Olive Card Stock, Sponge Daubers, and three ink pads Old Olive, Crumb Cake, and Rich Razzleberry. That's it.

To add some depth to my succulent, I used the Stampin' Pierce Mat, Paper-Piercing Tool and the Bone Fold.  As you will see in the video these succulents are super easy to make.  And by changing the shade of green card stock and ink, you will get a totally different looking succulent.

Check out this adorable Petite Cafe Gift Bag I made for a my dear friend Kathy for her birthday gift.  I used the same technique I used on the gift box I shared a week ago.

Now sit back and watch the video on how easy it is to make succulents.

Have you checkout the adorable Mini Egg Cartons?

#minieggcartons #lindabauwin

Have you checked out these adorable Mini Egg Cartons?  There are so cute.  Jodie's sister loves chickens and her birthday was last week.  So check out the cute way I was able to package up her gift with these mini cartons.

Here is the carton closed.

#eggcarton #lindabauwin

I used the Hexagons Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder with the Crumb Cake Ink Pad, no big shot needed, to make the chicken wire.  Will have a video in a few days on how to do that technique.  I did that on a piece of Sahara Sand Card Stock for the top and also on the little tag I made.

I used the 5/8" Burlap Ribbon to wrap around the egg carton and the Thick White Baker's Twine to tie the tag to the carton.  And of course had to use the adorable Hey Chick Stamp Set that you can get free during Sale-a-Bration with a $50 order.  Have to admit I didn't like the Hey Chick Set when I first saw.  But love it now.

Check out the inside of the egg carton.

#heychick #lindabauwin

I bought a couple glass eggs and some chicken salt & pepper shakers.  Add some Spanish Moss and my little gift was done.  Julie seemed to really like it.  It was pretty darn cute.

I see where the Mini Egg Cartons have low inventory.  If you are thinking of getting them for Easter I would get ordered before it's too late.

Loving Succulents

#succulentbox #lindabauwin

What do you think?  Look like real Succulents?  Well there not.   They are card stock, and I am loving them.  Why?  Became I kill every house plant I get.  Have beautiful flower gardens outside but inside no way.

I took a piece Crumb Cake Card Stock, and stamped it with the Gorgeous Grunge and the Timeless Textures Stamp Set in Crumb Cake and Soft Suede Ink. I then sprayed with Rubbing Alcohol and crunched it up, to give it an aged look.  I then took a Project Life Card Collection Box and covered it with the Crumb Card Stock.

I used this box as a gift box for a dear friend's birthday gift.  But what made the gift come a live is the beautiful succulents on top.  Don't they look real?

#ohsosucculent #lindabauwin

I was so pleased with the look of the gift box.  I can't wait to make more of these beauties.  Watch, as I will have to do a video in the coming days and show you just how easy these succulents come together with the Succulent Framelits Dies found in the Occasions Catalog.  Hard to believe I start the succulents with Old Olive and Crumb Cake Card Stock.

Twisted Pop-Up Card Video

#twistedpopup #lindabauwin inside

Why did I wait so long to do this creative fold?  Because I felt it was too difficult.  Boy was I wrong.  Once you get the basics down it is an easy creative fold as you will see by the video below.

#twistedpopup #creativefold #lindabauwin

I started with a piece of Smoky Slate that measured 4 1/4" x 11" and it's important to decorate the front first.  I used the beautiful Lift Me Up Bundle.  This bundle matches the Carried Away Designer Series Paper which is a free item with a $50 order until March 31, or while supplies last, during Sale-a-Bration.

To make the pop-up part of the card you need a piece of card stock that measures 3" x 8".  You will score down the center on both ides at 4" on the long side and 1 1/2" on the short side.  Mark at the 2 1/2" from each corner with a pencil, on the top and bottom edge of card stock.

You will score an "X" from mark to mark.  The center of the "X" should match the center of the card stock where the other score lines intersect.  Watch the video as it will help you, this is what scared me, but it is very simple.  Just remember to burnish your score line well.  You will mark 2 1/8" in the center fold of your card and that is where this pop-up goes.

To cover up Pop-up cut to piece of designer series paper that measure 4" x 5 1/4".  Mark at the 2" on the short side and 2" down on each side.  You will cut a triangle to fit inside the card and cover up the center.

The focus piece is 3 3/4" x 11" score in center at 5 1/2" and at 2 3/4" from each end.  This will fold like a "W".  You need 4-2 1/2" x 3 1/2" panels for the focus piece.

To assemble the card, center the booklet at the top of the open card, ends upward just inside the edge, with the back page facing up.  Apply Adhesive to the Pop-Up Mechanism, as show in the video.

Santa Candy Bar Video

Santa Candy Bar Linda Bauwin

Today I wanted to share with you another great little gift that I shared last year, but thought it was worth sharing again.  It is this adorable Chimney with Santa going down covering a chocolate bar.  How cool is that.  It is the perfect little gift for classmates, neighbors, or anyone you just want to give a little something too.

I used the standard Hershey Bar and wrapped it with a piece of Cherry Cobbler Card Stock that measured 5 1/2" x 5 1/2".  Next I ran through the Big Shot using the Brick Wall Embossing Folder I used the uni-ball Signo Gel Pen to make the mortar in my bricks.

Did you noticed what I used for Santa's Boots?  The Sweetheart Punch! Too cute huh?  I used 4 piece of Cherry Cobbler Card Stock that measured 1 1/4" x 3" to make Santa's legs.

The snow along the chimney was done with a piece of Dazzling Diamonds Glitter Paper that measured 1/2" x 3 1/4".  I just used scraps that I had for the cuffs of Santa's Pants with the Glitter Paper.  Doesn't get easier then that does it?

Check out the Video for other helpful tips in making this cute little gift.

Quick & Easy Designer Series Bag Video

#quickeasybag #lindabauwin

This video is going to show you how quick and easy it is to make a gift bag, to hold a gift card or small gift, all from a half of sheet of designer series paper. That means two bags from one sheet of designer series paper.

Like I said all you need is a half of a sheet of designer series paper.  Then along the 6" side you will score at one inch and four and a quarter.  Along the 12" side score at one and three quarters, five and one quarter, seven and at the then and a half.  How simple is that?

I used a Gold Binder Clip to close my bag.  You could also put handles on the bag and make it in to a little purse.  So cute.  Can't wait to see what you design with this pattern.  Make sure you share.

Triangle Box Video

#triangleboxclosed #lindabauwin

Today's Creative Fold Video is of this adorable Triangle Box perfect for a little Christmas Gift.

Here is a picture of the side view

#trianglebox #lindabauwin

I started with a piece of Garden Green Card Stock that measured 7" x 9 3/4".  You will score along the 9 3/4" side at 1 3/4" 4 1/4" and 7 1/4".  Along the 7" side you will score at 2" and at 5".  that is all the scoring.  As you will see in the video you just do a couple little cuts and that is all there is to it.  You will have a fun little triangle box to put a small gift in.

I forget to tell you in the video the sizes for the Designer Series Paper I used.  I used the beautiful This Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper and I cut a strip that was 2 3/4" long and it then cut two pieces that were 2 1/2" wide, one that was 1 1/2" and finally one 2 3/4".

I used the Layering Squares Framelit Dies and the Stitched Framelit Dies to finish the box off.  Check out the video for more information on how easy it is to make this box.
