New Starting Tomorrow Stitched Dies

OMG I am so excited about these new dies that will be released tomorrow.  I can't wait to get my hands on them.  They are stitched circles, squares, and oval framelits.  They will add some extra style to your shapes or even just as an accent around a stamp image on your card.  You must watch the video below on how these great framelits work.

Not only are stitches a classic trend, they illustrate the quality, precision, and extra care taken when creating a piece. Giving a stitched gift shows just how much you value that relationship. Now you will have the opportunity to purchase Stitched Shapes Framelits ahead of their official release in the 2017-2018 annual catalog and get 25% off coordinating stamp sets.

That's right you can also pick from the stamp sets below at a 25% discount, in addition to the new framelits available Nov. 1st.  Prices are shown are clear mount but you can get in wood for a little more.

OMG Feeling So Blessed Look What I Got

#mybirthday #lindabauwin

Is this the most amazing card or what?  Yes today is my birthday, and yes I am 61, but this card brought a huge smile.  Yes before you ask, I will be doing a video on it when I return from Stampin' Up!'s OnStage in Phoenix, Arizona later next month.

Not only is it a stunning card, it was made by someone who doesn't stamp.  Yes you read right.  But yet she took the time to design a special card for me for my birthday.  Is that special or what?

You see three years ago, God answered a prayer that I didn't even know I had.  He brought my Assistant in to my life, Jodie Daniels.  At the time when I told her I could give her a couple weeks work, I thought I was doing it to help her, as she was between jobs.

You see, I was not looking for an assistant, especially one who didn't stamp.  But she has truly been God Sent as she keeps me on track when I am not sure where I am headed.

I was out-of-town a few days last week doing workshops out of my area.  Jodie was left alone in my stamp room to cut card stock for the retreat I am doing this weekend.  Well she did an amazing job getting that all together.  Plus she designed on her own this card.  Feeling so totally blessed.  Thank you God for my Jodie.

Copper Card with Merriest Wishes Bundle

#merrywishesbundle #lindabauwin 2

Today's video I am using the beautiful Copper Foil Paper with the Merry Tag Framelit to make my card.  Even though I am only using the framelits on this card, I highly suggest purchasing this as a bundle.  The stamp set and framelits work so well together.

I also am using the Silver Glimmer Paper for the background to give it extra sparkle.  And the Candy Cane Lane Baker's Twine. This is such a value you get a spool of Red Baker's Twine and a spool of Whisper White with a Metallic Thread through it.  Both spools have 25 yards on them and they are only $6.00.

Uneven Gate Fold Card

#unevengate #lindabauwin w

I am so grateful for my faithful followers who understand my senior moments.  I have never been one to go back a change a video because of my mistakes.  Why?  Well one I don't have the time nor patience for that.  And Second I am who I am.  And some days that is a royal mess.

So bear with me on today's video, as you well know some days I have my act together and some days it's questionable.  But I have the correct measurements for you for this Uneven Gate Fold Card listed below and on my video..

The card is the standard 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" piece of Garden Green Card Stock.  Along the 8 1/2" side, I scored at the 2 1/2" on one side and the 1 3/4" on the other side.  This formed my Uneven Gate Opening for my 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" standard card.

On the Flap that is the 1 3/4", I adhered a piece of This Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper that measures 1 1/2" x 5 1/4" .  On the Flap that was scored at the 2 1/2", I adhered a piece of Cherry Cobbler Card Stock that measures 2 1/4" x 5 1/4" and a piece of the Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper that measures 2" x 5".

I used the Metallic Foil Doilies on each of the flaps and layered them on top of each other.  I next used the Layering Circle Framelits to stamp my verses on.

I hope you enjoy today's video and card, and that I didn't take such a simple card and make it too difficult.  Thanks for your patience.

Exciting News Copper Foil Sheets Can Be Ordered Again.

#copperfoilsheets #lindabauwin

So excited to share that Stampin' Up!'s Copper Foil Sheets, can be ordered once again.  These 12" x 12" sheets  come in a package of two, and have been so popular since our Holiday Catalog  went live.  Stampin' Up! had to stop taking orders for them because we couldn't get inventory in fast enough to support the demand.  But as of right now they are in stock and ready to be shipped to you.

And it is no wonder we had such an inventory issue, as these sheets are so stunning especially for Fall and Christmas.  I wanted to share some of the projects I have been doing with these sheets.

Here is a creative fold card I did using the Copper Foil for the accent as a leaf.

Merriest Wishes Bundle For Card Making

#merriestwishesbundle #lindabauwin

In today's Video, I am going to show you a beautiful card using the Merriest Wishes Bundle.  When you first look at this bundle, all you think is tags.  But in the next several videos, I will be showing you beautiful cards done with this set.  Today's card is so stunning in person.

#merrywishesbundle #lindabauwin 1W

In addition to the Merriest Wishes Bundle, I used the bow and pine boughs from the Pine Bough Thinlit Dies, another great bundle for Christmas Project.  In the background you will see I used the Pine Bough Textured Embossing Folder.

The base card is 5 1/2" x 11".  The Real Red Card Stock measures 4" x 5 1/4" and the Whisper White Piece that I ran through the Pine Bough Folder and stamped with the Emerald Envy Ink measures 3 3/4" x 5".

The Red and Gold Glimmer just makes the card pop with color.

As you see in the video I used the Big Shot Brush which helps a lot to remove your card stock from the thinlit dies, but you still need that paper piercer to get the small details out.

I did not remember to use the great tip on using tear and tape to help with adhere these fine thinlits to my project.  Have you seen that tip?  If not you can check it out in this video.

Creative Inking Blog Hop Thankfulness

Blog hop

So glad you join us on our Creative Inking Blog Hop with the theme Thankfulness.  This theme has a special place in my heart. A little over a year ago, when my life turned upside down, my Pastor's Wife suggested I started a Gratitude Journey.  Well it is much easier to be thankful and be filled with gratitude when things are going along good in your life.  But unfortunately, when life is going well we sometimes forget to take the time to be thankful for what we have.

Well, when your life turns upside down it is extremely hard to be full of Thankfulness and find gratitude in each day.  But if you make it a practice every day, no matter what is happening in your life, you will find an inner peace that will make each day a little bit brighter.

So I challenge you to think of some one you are thankful for, and send them a card and let them know what they mean to you. Life is short and precious be thankful for each moment you have with someone special in your life.

#basketofwishes #lindabauwin

My card share is from the the Basket of Wishes stamp set from the Holiday Catalog.  Check out all the beautiful verses to bring a smile to someone special in your life.

#thankfulcard #lindabauwn

The card you send will warm your heart with thanksgiving, as well as who you send it too.  Now let's go see what Sue has for us or hop back and see what Dena has shared.
