Different Ways to Adhere Thinlits & Framelits

#christmascard #lindabauwin

In today's video I show you how to do this Window Christmas Card using vellum for the window with the Softly Falling Embossing Folder.

I used lots of framelits and thinlits on the card and I showcase the main ways you can adhere them to your card.  If you watched my video last Friday you seen the newest tip I learned using the Tear & Tape.  Did you miss that video?  Here it is.

On this card I used the Hearth & Home, Christmas Greetings, and Swirly Scribbles Thinlits.  The little bow came from the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits.  Just makes for a stunning card.

So watch the video and tell me what is your favorite way to adhere Thinlits or Framelits to your project.

Fall Is In The Air More Challenge Cards

Some more card shares from my Product Challenge from Members of my Stamp Family.  The first Share is from Michele Casto from Twinsburg, Ohio.   Michele used the same Warmth & Cheer Designer Series Paper Stack Paper that so many used with their entries to the challenge, but did their cards as Christmas Cards.

Michele shows how versatile this paper stack is.  You can use it for your Fall Cards as well as your Christmas Cards.

#michelecasto #lindabauwin

I love the look with the Kraft Rope Ribbon and the Gold Sequins.

Sue Dean Rochester New York also used the Warmth & Cheer Designer Series Paper to create a Thanksgiving Card.  Love the Wondrous Wreath Stamp Set.  Even though it is a Thanksgiving Card with it's both Real Real Ribbon and Accents it gives you hints of Christmas.

Copper Gate Fold

#coppergatefold #lindabauwin

Today's Creative Fold Video is a Copper Gate Fold.  I am so in love with all our new copper products:  Copper Foil, Copper Embossing Powder, and Copper Thread.  This card is my October TEAM Card.  Members of my Stamp Family who sell over $1000 in a month, promote, or recruit, receive a card from me that month.

I used the Delicate White Doilies on the opening flap of the card and I embossed with the Copper Embossing Powder.  The Copper leave was made with the Copper Foil Paper and cut out with the Leaflet Framelits and dry embossed with the Softly Falling Embossing Folder.

In the video I stated that I would share the dimensions of the card in this blog post.  So here goes:

More Christmas Ideas.

Time to share some more creative Christmas Creations from my Stamp Family that were submitted during last month's challenge.  The first is from Joyce Kern from Euclid, Ohio.

Once again simple and elegant.  Using a piece of the Real Red 3/4" Stitched Edge Ribbon, The Layering Oval Thinlits, The Warmth & Cheer Designer Series Paper Stack and Elegant Dots Embossing Folder.

Cheryl Dodich from Mentor Ohio create the next card.

WOW Gluing Tip for Thinlit or Framlits

#wowgluingthinlit Linda Bauwin

You are going to love today's video that has this amazing WOW tip for gluing your thinlits or framelits.  I have shared in the past the tip with using press-n-seal to glue these fine thinlits and framelits.   If you miss that video you can watch here.

Well today's video tip is so much easier.  I mean WOW.  A shout out to Linda Heller for sharing this tip with me.  It is one of those light bulb moments when you think why haven't I been doing this all along.

SO watch the video and then tell me what you think.  I am sure you will be so surprised how easy it will now be to glue thinlit or framelits to your project.

Time to Share Some More Challenge Shares

#maryrodgers #lindabauwin

Mary Rodgers from Rochester, NY created this card using the product I sent her last month for our group product challenge.

Why do I have to make cards so difficult at times?  This card is clean and simple.  The card features: the Warmth & Cheer Designer Series Paper Stack, the Candy Cane Lane Bakers, Twine, 5/8" Silky Taffeta Ribbon Combo and the adorable Christmas Trinkets Embellishments, all of which can be found in the Holiday Catalog.

I love the Chalkboard affect Mary used with the greeting, just adds so much to the card.

Leigh Amburgey from Mentor also created a card simple and elegant using the same Warmth & Cheer Designer Series Paper Stack.

#leighamburgey #lindabauwin

Leigh also used the 5/8" Silky Taffeta Ribbon Combo, but added the Real Red 3/4" Stitched Edge Ribbon to add an nice dividing accent to her card.

#carrieburr #lindabauwin

Carrie Burr from Hennepin, IL used the Warmth & Cheer Designer Series Stack and used it for the focus point of her card.  Still keeping it simple Carrie made the Designer Paper Stack the main focus of her card with the addition of the Christmas Greeting Thinlits.  And to further accent the card Carrie used the Candy Cane Lane Bakers and the Mini Jingle Bells.

Creative Inking Blog Hop Spooky Fun

Blog hop

Welcome to another Creative Inking Blog Hop.  The theme this month is Spooky Fun.  I have to admit Halloween is not one of my favorite Holidays.  In fact, I don't have any Halloween Stamps.  I know for some one you that is hard to believe, as you love Halloween.  And that is perfectly fine.

As a demonstrator, I know I have to show a lot of different holidays, styles, and techniques that are not always what I like, but what others do.  That is why every time there is a new catalog, I take part in many card swaps among other demonstrators.

This allows me to show many different cards that I would otherwise not be able to show.  And that is the case for this blog hop.  I am sharing some lovely cards created by others, since Halloween is not on my radar but may be on yours.

#halloweencard #lindabauwin

This card uses two of the stamp sets in the Holiday Catalog first the Halloween Scares and the other is the Spooky Fun. Checkout the silver fence it is part of the Halloween Edgelits Dies that comes in a bundle with the Spooky Fun.

This card also uses two different Halloween Sets.  The first being the Jar of Haunts that coordinates with the Everyday Jar Framelits Dies.  It also uses the Ghoulish Grunge Stamp Set.  Now I will have to admit the Ghoulish Grunge Stamp Set is on my radar as a possible buy.  As I love the cool background images.

#halloweencard2 #lindabauwin

This card uses the Spooky Fun Bundle and I have to say I love the tree framelit and the pumpkins in the bundle.  So as you see when I take part in a swap I see cards that inspire me to make purchases that I normally would not of made.  As I am sure will be the case with this blog hop.

Now hop over to Sue Lehrer Blog and she how she inspires you.  Or Hop back to Dena Rekow's Blog and she how she inspires you.
