Sneak Peak Stamp of the Month Kit

Sprinkles of Life Stamp Set_Linda Bauwin

Did you watch yesterday's video on the quick tips on using the Sprinkles of Life Stamp Set and the Tree Builder Punch?

Look at my first Stamp of the Month Kit from the New Stampin' Up! Catalog.  I am so excited about this Kit.  It is the largest kit I have ever offered, both in supplies you will receive plus the number of cards in the kit.

Have you ever taken part in my Stamp of the Month before?  Well for the last year I have offered two kits each month.  I am going to continue doing just that, offer two Stamp of the Month Kits each month.  But starting in June I will change the release time of the two kits.

One kit will be released the first of the month, like they have been in the past.  The second kit for the month will be offered around the 15th.  So excited for this kit to be released next week.

Why?  Because it features this year's Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) stamp set, Sprinkles of Life.  For every one of these stamp sets sold, Stampin' Up! will donate $3 to RMHC.  How cool is that?

Stampin' Up has been offering this program to support RMHC for several years but this year's set, Sprinkles of Life, is by far the best set ever.  I had so much fun creating the cards for this Kit.

With this Stamp of the Month Kit, you will make the 3 note cards and 4 cards.  You will get the stamp set, the matching tree builder punch, plus the new In Color Markers for 2015-16 all for one price.  So say tune until tomorrow, when I release full kit details.

Then on Tuesday when I release the creative fold video for this Stamp of the Month Kit.  This is a MUST HAVE KIT.  All new product and $3 donated to the RMHC.

Stampin' Up! New Product Tip

Spinkles of Life_RMHC_Linda Bauwin

Can I just say I cannot get enough of the Sprinkles of Life Stamp Set and the Tree Builder Punch.  In today's video I am going to share two great tips on using both of these new products.

The Sprinkles of Life is the stamp set that Stampin' Up! picked for it's Ronald McDonald Charities (RMHC) Set this year.  Stampin' Up! has been offering this program for several years, where every time the RMHC Set is sold, they donate money to the charity.

This year it is the best set they have ever picked.  They will donate $3 to the charity every time we sell it.  And if that wasn't enough, they have the Tree Builder Punch to match this set.

That is why the Sprinkles of Life Set, Tree Builder Punch, and the New In Colors for this year, will be part of my first Stamp of the Month Kit out of the new catalog.  I can't wait in the coming days to share all the details with you on the biggest Kit I have ever done.  It is the biggest as far as product you will receive and the most cards you will get in the kit.  So stay tune.

In today's video I will share a punch tip and show you how I create the tree in this card.

Amazing Stampin' Up! Offers Coming

June 1 SU! Specials_Linda Bauwin

Check out this week's specials.  Some great product that will be going out of the Occasions Catalog next week on sale.  Doesn't get better than that.

Once again, I feel like a child waiting for Christmas Morning, as I wait for next Tuesday to order out of the new Stampin' Up! Catalog.  That is the day you can order too.

One Day SU! Special_Linda Bauwin

Do you know why you have to order next Tuesday, the first day of the 2015-16 Stampin' Up! Catalog?  You will be able to order the last items you want from the retiring list and the Occasion Catalog , PLUS new items out of the new catalog and ALL at the old prices and the old Hostess Rewards.

It is a WIN WIN Kind of Day June 2, so start making your list so you will be the first to order before the rush.

Don't forget Tuesday is also the last day to register for my In Color Class that will be held in my home, plus you won't want to miss out of in the first round of the In Color Mail Bundle, featured exclusive by me.

Check back tomorrow, as I share a video with some tips on using the new Ronald McDonald House Charity Set, from this year's catalog, called Sprinkles of Life.  It matches the Tree Builder Punch that is too cute.   Every time SU! sells this set they will donate $3 to the RMHC.  I have some fun things to share with this set, as it will be my first Stamp of the Month Kit out of the new catalog.

Save the Date For My Biggest Event of the Year

Danger Used Stamp Sale_Linda Bauwin

Jodie, my assistant, and I have been busy pricing and packing for my huge garage sale in Jefferson, Ohio.  You aren't going to want to miss this one, as we have been really cleaning out the stamp room.

This year, on June 27 from 9-1, will be my Annual  Garage Sale/Mystery Hostess Event. Note I have changed locations.  We will be at the Jefferson Community Center 11 E. Jefferson St.  I am celebrating, as we will be in an air conditioned building.   I always pick the hottest day of the year to host this event, so this is a welcomed addition.

Did you know you can bring your own unwanted paper crafting items to this sale?  That's right!  And by doing so, you get in an hour early at 8 a.m. to shop.  I have advertised in the papers, rented the hall, invited thousand of stampers to this sale, all you have to do is come.  So price your items clearly with your name, and bring them to the sale.  I ask that you call me at 440-576-7130 or e-mail at to let me know you are bringing items, so I will have enough tables set up.

Don't forget the same day from 1-3, is my Mystery Hostess Event, with free make-a-takes and drawings for the hostess rewards.  A thank you to my loyal customers.  Reminder you get a free ticket if you RSVP by June 14th.

Double Cascading Card

  Double Cascading Card_Linda Bauwin

Today's creative fold is a Double Cascading Card using the Petal Potpourri Stamp Set and matching Flower Medallion Punch.  These two items come separately or in a bundle in the Occasions Catalog.  When you purchase together in the bundle you get a 15% discount.  Love bundles.

Sad note is this beautiful flower set,  Petal Potpourri, is not a carry-over in the New 2015-16 Stampin' Up! Catalog.  So if you have not gotten it, you need to hurry as it will soon be gone.

And guess what?  In the New Stampin' Up! Catalog there are more bundles than ever.  Just to let you know the new catalog is dangerous to my wealth as I am sure it will be for you too.  BREATHTAKING!!!

I used a piece of Rich Razzleberry that measures 5" x 12" and a piece of Very Vanilla that measures 4 7/8" x 12".   I cut each at a diagonal.  The Very Vanilla I marked a pencil mark up the side at 2 3/8" and cut at a diagonal.  The Rich Razzleberry I marked at the 2 1/2" and cut at a diagonal.

I scored both of these pieces of card stock at 4" and 8" and adhere them together.  I used Snail Adhesive but you can use Fast Fuse or Sticky Strip.

I used the Lots of Thanks Stamp Set, which is retiring and the Papillon Potpourri Set Stamps.  I top it of with some Dazzling Details to add some sparkle.

Tunnel Card Video

Thanks for humoring me, as we take a stroll down memory lane with the videos of the past.  When I ran across this Creative Fold Video and the Tunnel Card, I thought why don't you do that creative fold again?  As I love the look.  I am getting a smile about my improvement with videos over the last two years.

I use to do a blog post with just the video, no blogging about the project at all.  I remember when a customer e-mailed me and said I would sure like something I could print about the video for reference.  That is when the light bulb went out.  The same with having a picture of project on my blog.

I promise this is my last share of the Wildflower Meadow Background Stamp.  Can you tell I am going to miss it?  What is the one set you are going to miss in this catalog?  If you want to see more samples with this stamp set you can always check my boards on Pinterest.  As I have a board just on this set.

Fun Before the SU! Incentive Trip

Hawaii Trip_Linda Bauwin

I was blessed to go to Honolulu a few days earlier then the Stampin' Up! Incentive Trip.  Thanks to a dear friend Cindy Baughman.  Cindy did a fundraiser for American  Cancer Society's Hope Lodge.  She held this event in honor of our Advisory Board Sister Kim Williams who recently battled breast cancer.

I got to present at this event with some pretty amazing women Pam Morgan, from SU!, Ronda Wade and Dawn Griffith from Michigan.   It was a day I will remember forever.

After the event, I got a phone call in my hotel room from a former member of my stamp family, Laurie Capps.  She now lives in Hawaii and was working in a shop downstairs.   She saw ladies leaving the event and asked what was going on and found out I was presenting.  So she called around local hotels until she found me.  It was so good to see her again.

Laurie Capps_Linda Bauwin

The next day Cindy was such a wonderful host, showing us around her beautiful island, and inviting us into her home for some traditional Hawaiian activities and of course stamping.

Here we are making our leis.

Cindy Baughman, Dawn Griffith, Georgia Giguere, Me, Kim Williams and Meg Loven and no Dawn doesn't have toilet paper that is the twine we used to make the leis.

Making Leis at Cindy's so much fun

Here Dawn and I are stamping in Cindy's stamp room.

And all this happened before we even started the Stampin' Up! Incentive Trip.  Lots of memories made and new friendships formed.  Memories like these make me glad I'm a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.
