Occasions Catalog's Petite Petals

No name

I have to say that the Petite Petals Stamp Set in the Occasions Catalog is a favorite.  And when you purchase in a bundle, the stamp set and matching punch you get a 15% discount which makes it even a sweeter deal.

I love the color Crisp Cantaloupe, so that helps with the appeal of this card, but also the layout.  It is a very different layout with the stripes of Whisper White that have been embossed with the popular Decorative Dots Embossing Folder.  You can only get this folder through March 31, 2014 during Sale-a-Bration, so don't delay.

I made this card during a Shoebox Swap coordinated by Sherrie Robinson a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator from Ohio during Stampin' Up! Leadership.   She always does an amazing job with her Shoebox Swaps.  Unfortunately I don't know who created it this card as I have no name.

Have you ever taken part in a Shoebox Swap?  They are awesome.  You create one card and bring enough supplies for everyone else in the swap to make your card.  At the Shoebox Swap you make everyone else's cards, while they are making yours.  Too much fun, and a great way to get to play with new product and card designs.

Shoebox Swaps are great to do with your stamping friends.  Give it a try.

Another Card Going For The Gold

Susan Kauber

As the Olympics draw to a close I thought I'd share another card that goes for the gold using the Watercolor Wonder Designer Washi Tape. This card was originally created by Susan Kauber.  I received this idea while swapping at Stampin' Up!'s Leadership Conference back in January.  One of my favorite things to do at a Stampin' Up! Event is always to visit and swap.

Have you ever dreamed of going to a Stampin' Up! National Event with thousand of others who are in love with stamping like you?  Do you know you can go free if you sign up as a demonstrator before registration fills.

This year's Stampin' Up! Convention is in Salt Lake City July 17-19, 2014.   I would love for you to be there with me.

So do you know all the benefits of being a demonstrator?  Do you know what is required of you as a demonstrator?  If you missed my post 10 Reason to become a Stampin' Up Demonstrator CLICK HERE.

If you are ready to Join my Stampin' Family Click Here, and you will be on your way to an amazing adventure.

DIY-Wedding Programs or Menus

DIY Wedding_Invitation_Menu

Love is in the air.  I posted this video back in November, but thought I would send out again.  I know after Valentine's Day lots of young ladies are now looking at making wedding plans.

Also the Stampin' Up! Bow Bigz L Die was featured in our Holiday Catalog and was not available for awhile.  But I am happy to report it is once again available to order.

This die helps you create your own paper bows using any of Stampin' Up!'s fabulous cardstock or Designer Series Paper.   It makes bows in 2 sizes: the largest bow which is 3-3/4" x 1-3/4".   All you need is the Big Shot to use this die with the Standard Cutting Pads that come with the machine.

As this video below shows you can use this for Wedding Programs or Menus, but you could also use for showers, wedding party gifts.  The list goes on and on.

If you use this wonderful Bow Die in your wedding plans, I sure hope you send me a picture, so I can see what your creative minds come up with.  I know I have not even share a fraction of what can be done with this die.

Going For The Gold

Going for the Gold_Stampin'Up!

Today's video we are "Going For The Gold" with Stampin' Up!.  We are going to feature all the beautiful gold products Stampin' Up! is carrying in the Occasion Catalog.  In my book Stampin' Up! Captures the gold on every single product they carry, but this company has been my love for 17 years.

WOW 17 years.  It is hard to believe in May it will be 17 years since I joined this wonderful company for one reason, to get a discount.  Now, as Jay & I look at our 16th incentive trip in the next month, it is so hard for me to believe where rubber and ink has taken us.

Okay done with the walk down memory lane back to going for the gold.  I used the beautiful Watercolor Wonder Designer Washi Tape and the Bigz Die Beautiful Butterflies.  Makes me wonder why they called this Washi Tape Watercolor Wonder?  I would have called it gold.  But then they didn't ask me.

I used the beautiful Gold Foil Paper.  I so love the look you get when you run this through an embossing folder.  Of course, I used the beautiful Decorative Dots Embossing Folder that is FREE through March 31, 2014 during our Sale-a-Bration Sale.

The Gold Baker's Twine doesn't show in the video but is very elegant and adds the needed antenna's for my butterfly.

  • #13000 Watercolor Wonder Designer Washi Tape 3 designs, 3 widths, 5 yds each roll
  • 114507 Bigz Beautiful Butterflies

  • #121045 Basic Black Cardstock 3 1/4" x 3 3/4"

Spiral Flower Originals Die

Spiral Flow Die_Occasions Catalog

Isn't this little container so cute with the hershey kiss for the center of the flower?  My video today is about making this little container.  I used the wonderful Spiral Floral Originals Die from the Occasions Catalog, there is just so much you can do with this die. Do you have yours yet?

I did something a little different when I made this flower from how I have done them in the past, I ran it through the embossing folder Petals-a-Plenty.  This soften the cardstock and made it easier to spiral around.  I also sponged with the Sponge Daubers to add some color.

The container is just an empty button container and I used the 2 1/2" Circle Punch on the top and bottom.  Check out all the details on the video below.

I am working on my next round of videos and I have another adorable project done with this Spiral Flower Die coming your way in a couple weeks.  So don't delay get your Spiral Originals Die, so you can make these fun projects.
